What is a nebula?

A nebula is a place where stars, planets and solar systems are born. Nebulae are very important because without them would not exist planets or our Earth. No life would exist without a nebula. Our galaxy exists because of a nebula. Inside a nebula there are more than 3,000 stars, dust and gases. There is a variety of stars such as the brown dwarfs*, giants, red dwarfs, etc. A shooting star isn’t a star but a meteor burning up when it gets too hot. This happens when the meteor comes close to Earth’s atmosphere.
